BI Business Analyst

Our client is a leading Belgian company located in Liège / Brussels and active in more than 40 countries spread over the whole world. He is expert in lightability and is positioning itself for continued success. 

To support his growth, we are actively looking for a “BI Business Analyst” in the context of analytics and reporting solutions.

Major responsibilities

As a “BI Business Analyst”, you participate in business process and data alignment and ensure the implementation of the Group BI solution and reporting solution(s) within the local companies. 

You assume the following responsibilities : 

• To lead the Group solution progressive evolution in the domain, Analytics & Reporting (lead BI solutions)
• To participate in projects subcontracted to partners
• To participate in the BI roll out to ensure all required deliverables are produced
• To acquire and share the competences : to advice, to train, to acquire and maintain a deep knowledge in business processes, BI solutions and reporting systems and contiguous information systems (mainly ERP)
• To animate BI and reports users Group

Position qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Process experience in an Industrial environment
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Functional in a BI context (Trade & Logistic, Finance, Production and Purchasing) and MS Office
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse BI
• English is required
• It is also beneficial to speak one of the following – French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch or German
• Ready to travel abroad 30% time
• Hands-on, team player, honest, autonomous, problem solver and customer oriented
