German Accountant (H/F)

For a client in the sector of new technology, Jobmatch is looking for a Accountant fluent in German and English.

Job Description
You are in charge of the accounting of the German subsidiary. As a member of our European accounting team, you will take a part in the purchase and sale process, especially through the accounting system. You will ensure a regular monitoring on customers' accounts, suppliers' accounts and financials' accounts and you will actively collaborate to the monthly and quarterly closures. Responsibilities for this position include

• Booking of vendor invoices and expenses notes
• Follow-up of invoices approval and prepare electronic payments on a timely basis
• Cash-forecast weekly
• Booking of the bank statement on a daily basis
• Preparation monthly reports on costs (Vendor, Expenses, Cost Center, …)
• Recording and sending sales tax pre-registration monthly
• Establishing EC-sales report and Intrastat monthly
• Posting the salary (send from auditor)
• Dunning of customers invoices
• Contribute to the monthly and quarterly closing
• Preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements
• All correspondence with banks, customers and suppliers regarding accounting matters

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in accounting
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of common software programs (excel, word, outlook)
• Experience in using an ERP (SAP is a plus)
• Fluent in german and english, french is an asset
• Rigorous in your work
• Good communication skills and team spirit
