ICT TEACHER FOR THE ENGLISH AND/OR THE FRENCH SECTIONS

EEBI is part of the European Schools System, providing education for children whose parents work for European Institutions. Our school community consists of 3,400 pupils of 60 different nationalities and more than 400 members of staff coming from the various Member States and beyond. Pupils are taught in eight main language sections: Danish, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish and Spanish. Set on a spacious, leafy campus in the south of Brussels, we aim to provide innovative and inclusive teaching programs that achieve outstanding academic results. • Gross monthly salary:+/-  € 5956.02 for English section (21 periods of 45 minutes per week); +/- € 5105.16 for the French section (18 periods of 45 minutes per week)

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Proficiency in English and/or French equivalent to that of an educated native speaker
• A qualified, enthusiastic and experienced teacher of ICT (Information Communication Technology) up to the Baccalaureate (14-18 years old)
• Recent secondary school teaching experience
• Proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice and experience of working in a team
• Experience teaching ICT in English and/or French
• Ability to teach mixed ability classes using effective differentiation
• A high level of professionalism and care for the well-being of children
• Willing to contribute to the life of the secondary school

Preference will be given to a teacher who  has

• teaching experience in a European or international school
• integrates new technologies as a pedagogical tool
• has the ability to also teach Mathematics
• is committed to teaching from the lower secondary cycle through to the Baccalaureate cycle
• is proficient in another European language
