My client is a consumer protection organisation that has been active in Belgium for more than 60 years. The interests of consumers are at the heart of their business. Their objective is to inform, defend and represent consumers by helping them to assert their rights.
Description
As a Business Development Expert, you are responsible for the identification, development and follow-up of services and actions that aim to increase the value of the company in the eyes of consumers:
-Identify and evaluate opportunities for the development of new services and actions, based both on the company analyses and on consumer expectations. You also actively participate in their implementation, promotion and follow-up (user satisfaction, etc.).
-Participate in the implementation of temporary actions that offer real added value to consumers (group purchases, favorable conditions for a product or service...).
-Negotiate strong benefits with external partners for the benefit of their members.
-Develop external partnerships with the main players on the market.
-Work in close collaboration with other internal departments (editorial, marketing... ) to achieve your objectives.
-Monitor the development of your projects and you pay attention to their profitability (ROI). You constantly evaluate the relevance of your collaboration agreements according to internal analyses and the evolution of consumer needs.
Profile
-Master or bachelor degree in economic/business oriented direction.
-At least 5 years of experience in the development of consumer services
-Experience with project management within multidisciplinary teams.
-Strong communicator in Dutch, French and English.
-Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with an interest on market trends.
-Consumer centric: interests and satisfaction of consumers come first.
-Result-oriented and autonomous worker
