As a Junior Media Buyer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our media buying team in the planning, negotiation, and execution of advertising campaigns across various platforms. As Junior Media Buyer, you will :
- Assist senior media buyers in developing strategic media plans that align with client objectives and target audiences.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that advertisements are compelling, relevant, and optimized for various media channels.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for clients.
- Assist in negotiating media rates, contracts, and placements with media vendors while ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal placement.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports on key metrics, making data-driven recommendations for optimizations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution, including trafficking creative assets, tracking campaign delivery, and troubleshooting issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new media opportunities to provide insights for campaign enhancement.
- Assist in managing relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, and providing regular updates on campaign progress.
- Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and innovative solutions for client campaigns.
The successful Junior Media Buyer has the following profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in media buying, advertising, and digital marketing trends.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of media planning tools and platforms is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English and French or Dutch is required.
