The Junior Webmaster will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and optimizing our websites to ensure a seamless user experience and drive online engagement.

Description

As Junior Webmaster, you will :

• Regularly update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, relevancy, and consistency across all pages.

• Upload and format web content, images, videos, and other multimedia elements using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.

• Optimize website performance, including page loading speed, mobile responsiveness, and user navigation.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, broken links, and display inconsistencies.

• Implement basic on-page SEO techniques, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and content to improve search engine visibility.

• Integrate and monitor website analytics tools to gather insights on user behavior, traffic patterns, and engagement metrics.

• Ensure website security by applying updates, patches, and security measures. Back up website data regularly.

• Collaborate with design and user experience teams to enhance the overall user experience, making recommendations for improvements.

• Maintain documentation of website updates, changes, and technical procedures for reference.

• Stay updated with web development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Profile

The successful Junior Webmaster has the following profile :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Junior Webmaster or similar role.
• Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and familiarity with website builders.
• Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and website performance optimization.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality website content.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
