The client is looking for a Global Travel Retail Manager to join his team.

Description

Reporting to the Export Director, the Global Travel Retail Manager will be responsible for increasing the brand's presence and sales in the Travel Retail market :

Sales strategy and P&L

  • Manage customer P&L in different channels
  • Define a commercial strategy in line with budgetary objectives in order to achieve the desired levels of sales and profitability
  • Continuously seek out and evaluate new business opportunities in the sector

Account management

  • Define and sell action plans to customers
  • Develop strong working relationships at all levels of the client's organisation
  • Work with customers to maximise all aspects of the business (shop space and locations, pricing, investment, promotions, etc.)
  • Manage annual commercial negotiations

Promotional activities

  • Negotiate promotional activities to develop the business
  • Plan innovations and gift offers with purchases
  • Coordinate execution with the team (field sales force and merchandising)
  • Defining and monitoring the budget and aligning objectives with the team
  • Analysing return on investment, performance and sales

In-store excellence

  • Ensure the implementation of negotiated new counter openings
  • Manage existing retail outlets by organising merchandising follow-up
  • Organising sales force training in shops. Manage the flow of testers and gifts
  • Continuously seeking new opportunities in terms of space and location in order to improve the brand's image and extend the portfolio to new categories

Profile

  • At least 3 years' experience in a Travel Retail development role
  • Knoledge of international scope
  • Sensitivity to the health and natural products sector would be a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong values, commercial drive, good communicator, rigorous
  • Ability to understand the geopolitical context of each country
  • Mastery of sales and negotiation techniques
  • Good marketing knowledge
  • Management skills
  • Ability to show initiative / to make proposals / to be creative
  • Perfect command of English, fluent in French
