Job Description

As an accountant, you

• Manage the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying and entering transactions
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Prepare financial statements (mainly balance sheet, profit and loss) and ensure accuracy
• Suppors external audits and prepares annual accounts
• Comply with legal reporting requirements by preparing and submitting, a.o., VAT, Tax, Intrastat declarations
• Support for budgets and forecasts
• Participate in the implementation of our ERP system ensuring secure and accurate financial information.
• Are in charge of the coordination with the fiduciary partner
• Support the IFRS annual conversion
• Follow up the latest update concerning financial policies, regulation and legislation.
• Make sure internal processes are implemented and respected

Job Requirements

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• You have experience in an accounting firm or other relevant field as accountant for min. 3 years
• You have a very good knowledge of accounting (BEGAAP + IFRS) and corporate finance principles, procedures and legislation
• You are an expert in Excel, have a relevant ERP experience (Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
• You are fluent in French and have a very good level of English
• You are accurate and passionate about accounting and figures, with strong analytical skills
• You have good communication skills and are a real team player
• You are proactive, curious, structured, rigorous and have a critical sense
• You are involved, you can plan, prioritize and respect deadlines
• You are autonomous and take ownership in your scope
