A finance officer typically assists in financial record-keeping, invoice processing, and basic financial analysis.

Description

• Assist with the handling of financial processes for a series of international client groups
• Bank Reconciliations (Payment Journals) for credits
• Responsibility to ensure that all requests from clients are actioned and follow up
• Have a good understanding of client files
• Advises on whether balances in client account can be used to settle bills raised
• Ensuring customers pay on time the overdue cash calls

Profile

• First Accounting and/or Finance experience in Belgium is needed
• Languages: Fluent in English and French or Dutch
• Requires strong understanding of a professional services firm
• Education in Accounting and/or Finance
• Must be able to communicate effectively with managers, partners in a professional and personable manner
• Needs to be able to provide value and quality in all reporting, ensuring data reported is accurate and timely
• Strong ability/team player and work ethic to meet deadlines under pressure
