As Key Account Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain a client portfolio (large customers).

You will have a focus on Wallonia and Brussels.

Client Details

Our client is a leading facilities management company that offers a wide range of services including cleaning, security, catering, and maintenance. They specialize in providing integrated facility management solutions to businesses, organizations, and institutions, helping them to create safe, clean, and efficient working environments.

For the cleaning business, they are current looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen their sales team.


As Key Account Manager your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers from various businesses and functions (facility managers, CFOs, CEOs, etc.).
  • Take thoughtful initiatives that align with the expectations of our prospects.
  • Stay constantly alert for new opportunities.
  • Proactively implement necessary actions to acquire new clients.
  • Negotiate contracts in a structured and professional manner, ensuring feasibility and profitability.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all cleaning service-related inquiries.
  • Comfortably engage in networking events.


The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Extensive commercial experience in a similar sector (facilities, cleaning).
  • Ability to develop long-term relationships with customers.
  • Fluent in French and have an excellent level in Dutch.
  • Possess a true hunter mentality; approaching and persuading prospects is second nature to you.
  • Existing network in Wallonia and Brussels.
  • Capable of discussing with C-level contacts and influencing them.
  • Well-structured and initiative-takers.
  • Ability to federate people (clients & internal stakeholders).
