MATERIALS MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
Our client is an international industrial company that produces, processes and distributes glass for the construction (external glazing and interior decorative glass), the automotive (original & replacement glass) and the solar sectors. For its European headquarters, we are actively looking for a Material Maintenance Coordinator.
- Master's degree in engineering
- First experience in maintenance
- Walloon Brabant (south of Brussels) + 30% of European travels
Directly reporting the Warehouse Technical Manager, you will support all production plants and Supply Chain of a specific Division to implement and maintain the mandatory procedure regarding materials management in Europe & CIS countries. Using an SAP inventory control system, your role is to ensure that the maintenance process of materials is correctly applied in all primary glass factories and in the repair shops, and to help the teams to run corrective actions. You will be the link between the plants, the repair shops, the engineering, IT (SAP) and logistic department, able to point out optimizations and sustainable improvements. You might also have contacts with competitors what the materials' safety is concerned and part of a collaboration. You will monitor the cost and effectiveness of corrective and preventive maintenance. You are regularly present in the several European plants in order to help solve technical problems.
You have a degree in engineering with a technical background of minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance or an engineering department. An experience in a manufacturing environment is required. You are "hands-on", practical and results-oriented. You are willing to travel up to 30% of your time in Europe. You have good analytical skills, an eye for detail, but also the ability to keep a helicopter view. You have the energy and drive to work in a multinational environment and deal with uncertainty. You have good communication and leadership skills. You have a good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PP); knowledge of SAP is an asset. You have a very good level of English (written and spoken); knowledge of another European language is an asset.
