What will you be doing
As the Logistics Manager you’ll be managing the delivery of purchasing & logistics support functions at optimum cost and highest efficiency. You will be responsible for an efficient stock management and the on time delivery of spare parts and aircraft tooling in support of our operations and those of our customers. You will be in charge of the development of staff and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding company and regulatory standards.
* Ensure inbound service quality of all parts being received, inspected and recorded in the stock control systems.
* You keep all stock within our main-base as well as within our line stations in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.
* Ensure that all demands are picked and dispatched in a timely manner in order to meet the operational requirements and those of our customers.
* Prepare the annual budget and ensure that all department costs are correctly reported and kept within budgetary limits.
* Manage the relationship with both the Part-145 and Part-M organizations across the TUI Group and establish interface procedures where necessary to best control purchasing vs. consumption.
* Support any commercial negotiations for all purchasing and contracted support
* Ensure that all movements are properly administered and controlled and that statutory requirements are met (preparation of Customs documentation, correct use of Inward and Outward processing...)
* Operate in a collaborative, credible and professional fashion at all times, true to the Company’s values.
* Undertake projects and any other reasonable tasks as and when required by the business
* Manage as a driven team player capable to coach a motivated team, to support them and encourage their skills and expertise to achieve excellence in the performance of their duties.
