Our client is a leading services company active in the industrial measurement and calibration. This SME is full of challenges and will offer you high responsibilities. As Operations Director, you will be the conductor of a 50 people department and will have the opportunity to be part of this company's growth. This company is located in the Namur area.


As Operations Director you will have the opportunity to define the strategy of the technical department in close collaboration with the executive board. You will have the responsibility to translate this strategy into concrete actions to help the company reach the expected long term results.

Key responsibilities of the Operations Director :

  • Lead a team of 40 people (including middle management and technicians)
  • Manage projects and internal resources (people and material)
  • Coordinate the teams to make sure team leaders have enough people to lead the projects effectively
  • Control and improve the processes to help projects to be delivered in time, within budget and with the requested quality
  • Guarantee Invoice follow up and profitability of the department
  • Ensure safety rules are respected
  • You will report directly to the CEO


Profile of the Operations Director :

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the Healthcare and Life sciences sector
  • You are a natural leader and able to listen, understand and available to support your team
  • You are passionate for technical fields
  • You are results-oriented, polyvalent and have excellent organization skills
  • You have an entrepreneur mindset and to give the direction of a whole department
  • You are able to question yourself (your decisions and your knowledge)
  • You have a commercial feeling
  • You speak French perfectly and have a good knowledge of English
