Job description:

Pricing management

  • Analyze, propose, and establish a pricing policy and drive the pricing management process for the Business Unit for the EMEA region in close cooperation with VPs of Sales and Marketing that will result in the optimization of market share in the short and long run and in achieved targeted profit. Establish floor price levels, monitor adherence and flag inconsistencies. Steer exception handling by creating business case evaluation templates. Conduct quantitative analysis to define price setting, propose pricing segmentation, and provide profitability modelling
  • Collect and analyse information on competitor and market pricing, and use this and other input to develop and steer pricing strategy Monitor, report and control internal ASPs and profitability margins Business Intelligence & Analytics
  • Search, collect, analyse, evaluate and report business intelligence and market intelligence data in an ongoing effort to support the business to increase sales productivity, create competitive advantages and optimize organisational efficiency
  • Provide strategic analysis related to pricing, account profiling, account and product mix and other business analytics
  • Support business planning process and long range planning activities Sales incentive schemes
  • Provide guidance and support for the creation and follow-up of sales incentive programs
  • Analyse the impact of specific sales activities Tender Management
  • Analyze requests for proposals, coordinate response planning with sales managers and set a schedule for bid preparation
  • Profile:
  • Master or Bachelor degree in Applied Economics, Finance or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years of relevant working experience as pricing analyst/manager
  • Preferably Experience in the medical device/healthcare business, and in strategic marketing or business intelligence
  • Practical knowledge of finance, sales & marketing techniques.
  • Ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects of varying size and scope
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and at least one other European language.
  • International oriented, willing to travel
  • Hands-on attitude, proactive and result oriented
  • Strong Analytical person
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information, guide and influence key stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP-software
  • Willingness to invest and to help building the function within the organization
