We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner for one of our customers in the area of Liège, medical field

Job Description
Purpose of the position:
The role of the Supply Chain Planner is to ensure product availability at optimal customer service, e2e inventory and supply chain cost, in alignment with short term business value expectation. The supply chain planner works as an integrator along the value chain by effectively managing trade-offs in multiple planning horizons (operational, tactical, strategic)
Each planner is responsible for a specific assortment sourced either in internal factories or contract manufacturers.
The work involves close cooperation and a broad network of contacts within the company. You continuously monitor the flow, inform stakeholders and take proactive counter measure to ensure that agreed targets are met

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage product availability
  • Ensure the demand and supply plans are balanced in the optimal way
  • Analyse and report performance of the supply chain
  • Manage SAP master data relevant to planning
  • Plan, monitor and control stock level from end-to-end for your assortment
  • Analyse capacity and master plan together with Supply point
  • Participate actively to the Supply Chain Planning Team's objective and shared responsibilities
  • Develop knowledge and support continuous improvement programs to achieve service levels

Job Requirements
We believe that you have University Degree in Business or/and Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. You have 2-4 years work experience related to the Supply Chain Management. You are a experienced with ERP system and MS Excel.
In order to succeed in this role you need a good balance between detailed focus and good understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain to make correct priorities and operate successfully within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You also need to have good analytical, communication and networking skills to drive improvements across functions. The preferred candidate is performance driven, enjoys working in fast paced environment and has the ability to work independently with good proactive problem solving ability and strong customer focus. Moderate travelling will be required. (2-3 times/year)
