In the context of their growth, in order to enforce their team, our client is looking for a (m/f):

Shopper & Customer Marketing Manager



  • Leading the S&CM organization in Belgium. As part of the Belgian Management Team jointly defining and executing the strategy for the country unit, in in alignment with BDF MU Unit France-Benelux.
  • Defining short, mid and long term shopper strategies based on analytical insights combined with brand strategies. Collaborate with sales team to implement strategies.
  • Develop a winning team that is open for change and seeks for new opportunities to grow in a market with fast-paced changing retailer/shopper dynamics.
  • Main responsibilities:

Revenue Management: Focus is on the 3 pillars of the marketing mix: advised shelf price, promo intensity, average price

Revenue Management (Promo Management)

  • Promotional management means setting the strategy on promo intensity vs competition.
  • Promotional management also covers zooming in on individual promotions (pre- and post-evaluation) to improve effectiveness (NS/GM) per promotion.
  • It requires strong collaboration with the Hamburg project team and local teams (mainly sales, finance, SC).

Revenue Management (Pricing strategy – focus new channels)

  • Make a sustainable entry into new channels. Develop an assortment/channel recommendation.

Category Management

  • Category Management strongly collaborates with the Marketing organization on a category basis. Category management focuses on sell in story of category strategy in which value growth is central. On top, objective is to improve shelf/sku share and to translate category vision to the trade shelf. 

POS Management

  • Responsible for the consistent translation of the consumer message (e.g. ATL support) into the shop floor, so that shoppers recognize the BDF marketing message. On top, maximize in store theater to bring across NIVEA brand presence.

Budget Management: Budget owner for all POS activities.

Data Analysis

  • The S&CM manager needs to take data analysis to the next level in the broader S&CM team and rest of Beiersdorf organization so that the company becomes even more inside driven for defining right commercial strategies.


  • Experience as Senior KAM or Trade Marketing/Category Manager
  • FMCG experience
  • English and French speaking (Dutch is an asset)
