As Support Engineer, you will be supporting the Corporate Operations team to perform Desktop services and VIP Support.

Job description:

Your daily tasks include the monitoring, update and maintenance of tickets. You have the end-to-end ownership of the issue, from creation till resolution. You ensure the issue is followed up with a regular update to the end-user. You identify interruptions and escalate to the correct group when needed. You also support imaging and deployment of computers, monitors and mobile devices, by setting up and delivering them, or by maintaining a constant physical presence at designated service locations and time for employees to pick-up their devices. Installation of software is included. You train end-users on how to operate the equipment as requested. You do health checks of IT systems for printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners and video conference equipment on a regular bases or when requested. You check that everything is operational from the paper, toner and power of printers to the stock of standard equipment, to the setting up of the video conference room, the management of hardware and software (in liaison with 3rd party vendors) and the configuration of equipment (passwords, access to the network and VPN, basic data transfers,...) You also provide a VIP Support for senior executives. You resolve complex technical issues under pressure, explain the issues to them in an understandable way (non-technical), you anticipate and proactively address issues before they become a problem.

Profile:

Technical skills: 3+ years of experience in a similar role Experience in implementing, troubleshooting and supporting end user technologies & services in medium to large sized environments In depth knowledge of key technologies including Enterprise Mobility, Office 365, Collaboration, Messaging and Unified communications Good working knowledge of Active Directory (AD) Experience in Windows OS administration, configuration and troubleshooting Experience in managing mobile devices, configuring mobile policies and deploying mobile applications (Microsoft Intune or equivalent) Ability to create and maintain technical and functional documentation Is a big plus: hands-on experience with Office 365, ITSM and SCCM. Soft skills: Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills Proactive attitude and ability to interact with executive level. Time Flexibility to extend work hours to cover maintenance events outside of normal business hours when needed Follow site specific dress code: Business attire (shirt and tie) Languages: Fluent Dutch AND English.
