Role description:
The IT  Vendor Management & Performance Analyst is a mid-senior level position that has a responsibility to: assist in the development of IT vendor management strategies and policies; build, maintain and enhance productive relationships with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders; and, monitor and drive strategic vendor performance and compliance at an enterprise level.
Working as part the IT COO department, the  Vendor Management & Performance Analyst  will develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the organization maintains compliance, maximizes value and achieves key objectives with strategic vendors.
The Vendor Management & Performance Analyst  partners with internal groups including Business Vendor Management department and is expected to be a contributor to sourcing and procurement decisions, negotiations and contract development.
The Business Management Expert will report directly to the Head of IT-COO.

Role & responsabilities:
* Assist in the development of Vendor Management strategies, policies and procedures
* Enhance governance process frameworks for interactions with vendors
* Facilitate and build relationships with Technology leaders, developing an understanding of their portfolios and incumbent vendors
* Provide input to evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations
* Develop and direct relationships with strategic IT vendors
* Help establish common goals between key stakeholders and vendors, and drive communication between both parties
* Accountable for the ongoing monitoring of strategic vendors’ performance, as well as issue resolution and tracking, and governance of the vendor management framework
* Lead and facilitate internal Vendor Management surveys and score-carding programs to track preferred vendor performance, risks, issues, and more
* Oversight management of key contract terms and conditions and tracking of key performance criteria including Service Level Agreements
* Generate metrics on vendor compliance and performance, and report performance results to all levels in the organization
* Point of accountability for escalation and arbitration of vendor relationship issues and for resolution of vendor disputes
* Track demand for vendor services by pro-actively contacting project managers and analysis of project budget placeholders.
* Identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers by greater leverage of strategic vendors
* Define and document service expectations and products to be delivered by vendor (contracts, SLA’s, etc)
* Keep contract database up-to-date, provide support and advise in the PO/contract creation process to IT department members
* Manage the Vendor Risk Management (VRM) process by providing support and advise to IT department members in the day to day execution
* Quarterly KPI follow up
* Backup for the Resource Manager

* Minimum 7 years’ experience in vendor management, sourcing or PMO
* Understanding of best practices methodologies and processes used for vendor management including contract, pricing and penalty structures, superior service delivery, enhanced performance and continuous innovation
* Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to work in fast paced environment
* Ability to share and receive information, knowledge and expertise within the team environment
* Flexible problem-solver, open minded to receiving input from colleaguesStructured approach, accurate and an eye for detail
* Can organize own work and work largely independently
* Having worked for an IT department is an asset
* Knowledge of IT project lifecycle methodology as well as project & portfolio management (PPM) tool as Clarity is an asset

Education & qualifications:
* Master Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) and/or relevant practical experience
* Strong competencies  regarding vendor management in an IT-environment
* Strong in communicating & collaborating with all stakeholders (business & IT)
* Excellent communication skills: fluent in English, French and/or Dutch
* Strong  in process analysis
