As HR Manager, you will be responsible for a region covering several countries : the Netherlands, Belgium and France, plus exposure to other regions. It is not expected to travel a lot but you will be exposed to different languages and cultures. Your responsivities will be the following, among others :

  • Documentation of standard HR procedures
  • Amendment of existing processes and policies
  • Alignment HR documentation and processes with applicable law and companies compliance requirements
  • Assistance in merger or acquisitions
  • Works council meetings and union representation activities
  • Follow up on changes in employment law
  • Employment litigation or disputes
  • Drafting Settlement Agreements
  • Disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Contact with payroll and Tax specialists
  • Contact with local HR people in the different regions
  • Process alignment across the regions
  • Link with finance department for reporting
  • Assistance and coordination of recruitment's
  • Contact with external benefit providers
  • Project management around salary review, performance management and appraisals, engagement survey etc.
  • Follow up on annual short term incentives
  • Advisory to managers on comp & ben
  • Talent and succession planning
  • Employee relations management
  • Training
  • Etc


  • University degree holder or similar by experience
  • Experience in an international group
  • Experience in building HR systems and documentation
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French
  • Experience in working with Unions
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office and database applications)
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Ready to travel (up to twice one day/month surely in the beginning)
  • Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Service oriented

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, standard practices and processes
  • Strong organisational skills

Job Offer
