JUNIOR IT SUPPORT ENGINEER
We are looking for a candidate to integrate the IT team as Junior Support Engineer.
The candidate will be focused 90% on the support of base1 activities (Care services, Growth) but could work on other projects in the future.
The junior support engineer receives requests of users to solve incidents, make service requests on the user side (PC, printers, cabling) or on the system side (change settings on servers, …).
The junior support engineer does also alternative tasks like writing technical documentation, user guides, … and can sometimes participate in development or infrastructure projects.
The possible working hours vary from 08:00 until 20:00 Monday – Saturday, but could be extended in the future.
The candidate must :
-speak, read and write French or Dutch with a good English and a basic knowledge of the second national language.
-have an IT support background : able to install / configure PC
-working knowledge of the following tools : Windows, MS Office, Active Directory
-basic knowledge of MS SQL, Visual Studio (ASP.NET)
-have a good understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network components (router, firewall, VLAN …)
-generic understanding of a virtual server infrastructure under VMware
-have a perfect understanding and respect of IT ethics and integrity (“with great power comes great responsibility”)
The ideal candidate can have the following plus :
-being fluent in FR-NL-UK is a strong plus.
-knowledge of the existing missions (and tools) of base1 activities is a strong plus.
-able to understand code of applications in Visual Studio (ASP.NET), Xamarin, Angular, JAVA or any structured language
-has experience with MS SQL administration
-experience in working with AVAYA telephony (Avaya One-X agent, CMS supervisor), or Asterisk telefony
-basic knowledge of Linux
