Internal Auditor - Excellent career paths
Responsible to support the different entities of the Group as Internal Auditor

Our client is a Belgian company specialized in the Industry. He has an international presence with several plants located in more than 30 countries.
We are looking for this client for an Internal Auditor with a background in the Big 4 or an ambitious financial talent with a passion for audit and willing to learn
As a member of the Internal Audit team, you will execute risk-based internal audit engagements across Europe and Germany, under the supervision of the Head of Internal Audit:
Review operational and financial process to identify potential risk exposure and analyze objectively the accuracy
Identify relevant control weaknesses and business issues
Improve operational performance and strengthen controls by formulate specific recommendations
Prepare audits reports and supporting work papers in accordance with department standards
Follow-up on the recommendation made to the audited entities to ensure their implementation
You will develop and share best practices for process and control optimization (with the team)
Support local management with the implementation of the Group internal control framework (MICF)
You help with developing audit tools/ programs for local internal auditors
Facilitate the Group risk assessment exercise
Maintenance and update of Group internal control framework
As Internal Auditor you will have the following background:
Master's degree in Economics/ Finance
1 - 2 years as external or internal auditor or equivalent business experience
Fluent in English.
Demonstrate understanding of main business, operational and accounting processes together with basic knowledge of operational and financial systems.
Effective communication skills
Strong PC skills and IT affinity (Excel is a must / SAP knowledge is an advantage)
Independent and strong personality (to defend your recommendations towards management)
Prepared to travel up to 50% (maximum period of 3 weeks)
Strong integrity and neutral position
