Business Process Engineer
We are looking for a Business Process Engineer who will redesign processes across the EMEA region.
My client is an international manufacturing company of high quality semi-finished parts and products for different industries.
We are looking for a Business Process Engineer who will redesign processes across the EMEA region. Headquarters for Europe are in Belgium but this position will also be responsible for 13 other locations (production sites and sales offices). Procure to pay, order to cash and plan to execute are 3 important processes to be redesigned.
Together with your EMEA business partners (Business Process Owners) you identify process improvements and validate them with clear business cases and project plans. You create alliances within the EMEA business to get approval for realizing these projects. As a strong team player you are taking the lead in building teams across company and cultural barriers in the entire EMEA area. You make as-is descriptions for business processes within your area of control as well as to-be process flows with the required roadmap to get there and the metrics needed to measure the business improvements before and after. Together with the business you set and monitor the targets. You report to the EMEA IT Director.
You have a master degree preferably in Applied Economics, Commercial Engineering, Civil or Industrial engineering or Information Technology.
You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in an international manufacturing context.
You have strong project management skills and experience with projects with budget responsibility as well as project leadership. You have strong analytical and business process management skills.
You have strong exposure to ERP software (preferably SAP) and experience with reporting. Furthermore, you have a fluent knowledge of English.
Regular business trips across the EMEA area and sporadically to Japan are part of your job.
