Description

The General Manager represents the Company in the Branch and is in charge for the definition of the business strategies in the reference market, of the plans and programs necessary to achieve the established objectives, in collaboration with the company management based in Italy.

He/She develops the more effective strategies for the entry and the consolidation of the Company in the reference area through sales promotion activities, directly dealing and negotiating with strategic customers and developing the organization of the sales structure in the subsidiary. In particular, he/she defines short, medium and long-term business strategies for all product lines and brands within the company portfolio, in accordance with Group policies.

He/She manages the Branch and its staff on the financial aspects and he/she is responsible for the budget of the subsidiary, ensuring the achievement of profit and organizing the structure to reach levels of efficiency that allows cost savings. Moreover, the General Manager is also responsible for the coordination of procurement, production and logistics if the Branch has an Operation Department.

The General Manger has strong knowledge of commercial and economic rules, ability to manage people and to develop established plans, determination, attitude to work by objectives. He/She keeps him/herself informed about the market developments and identifies potential threats and growth opportunities, suggesting and validating changes and / or new product solutions and implementing best practices in the business field to foster the company's global growth.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a sales profile with the ability to be hands on the field with its commercial team.
