  • Client Details

    Our client is an international company active in the retail sector and working with premium brands. They are located in the Flemish Brabant and today they are looking for a category manager to reinforce their team.

    Description

    You will support the Category Managers and will have the following responsibilities:

    * Define the Regional Trade Marketing strategy and coordinate local trade marketing execution, leveraging local marketing teams (current presence in FR/UK/DE/NO/IT)

    * Support in building go-to-Market plans to deliver in line with regional target

    * Develop country/market channel strategy based on overall regional product strategy

    * Reference for decision on assortment, distribution, display, promotion at area and trade partner level

    * Contribute to optimise Sales execution effectiveness and Trade coverage

    * Create and develop promotion concepts, plus coordinate and measure regional consumer sell-out promotion plans

    * Create In-store experience concepts, develop POS (point of sales) material, coordinate and track strategy and plans in the markets

    * Track local marketing budget, deploy ROI analysis and provide recommendations

    * Support in validating local language when needed

    * Develop, maintain and track KPI dashboards and databases

    Profile

    The successful candidate will have / be:

    • Master degree in Marketing and/or International Business
    • At least 2 year's experience in trade, brand, product or category marketing
    • Experience working with a premium brand is a plus
    • Consumer-oriented mindset and channel and market insight

    • Strong analytical and communication skills

    • Fluent in English; French, German and Dutch are a plus
    • Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy

    • Effective negotiation skills

    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
