GLASS COATINGS (PVD) INDUSTRIAL COORDINATOR
Our client is an international industrial company that produces, processes and distributes glass (primary glass, processed glass, distribution and new business). For its European headquarters, we are actively looking for a Glass Coatings Industrial Coordinator;
* Master in Engineering / PHD;
* Vacuum processes (PVD)
* Walloon Brabant (south of Brussels) + 50% of European travels
Within the European Primary Glass Manufacturing team, you will coordinate and support all the industrial coater lines located in Western and Central Europe, Russia and Saudi Arabia. You will focus on the coating processes improvement and standardization within the plants, but also on problem solving and assistance. You will contribute to the sharing of best practice and know-how to ensure sustainable processes and products' reliability. You will work in close cooperation with the Marketing, Researchers and Engineering departments.

Graduated as a civil engineer or holding a PhD (preferably in physics, chemistry or material sciences), you have at least 3 years of relevant experience with a good expertise in vacuum processes (PVD), preferably in glass, and you have a willingness to learn and operate in an international environment. You are fluent in English (essential); all knowledge of French would be a plus. You are proactive, dynamic and ready to travel abroad up to 50% of your time for short missions to support local technical teams in the various plants all over Europe, Russia and Saudi Arabia. About your soft skills, your supportive and communicative approach, your ability to analyse complex problems, your creativity and your enthusiasm will be determining factors.
