Challenging Key Account Management position, working for a well-known national player with clients in FMCG & Retail, to build and maintain client relationships in the region of Brussels and Wallonia.

Client Details

My client is a national player in FMCG and retail. Currently, they are looking for a Key Account Manager B2B for the region of Brussels and Wallonia.


As Key Account Manager B2B:

  • You are responsible for a portfolio of some major clients in Retail
  • You know how to detect the actual and future needs of those accounts
  • You advise and propose custom-made Omni-channel solutions
  • Besides your strong presence in the field, you ensure yourself of a professional follow-up of your client relationships
  • You create targeted commercial actions in order to develop new business opportunities
  • Thanks to your experience and expertise, you are able to think proactively with your stakeholders (marketers, trade promotion managers, etc.)
  • You are able to service your clients through different channels, and you ensure yourself of the further development and expansion of your network
  • You advise your clients on how to reach with a maximum potential the traditional consumer as well as the digital shopper
  • You have an helicopter view position while still being able to set the right priorities
  • You handle possible conflicts or setbacks accordingly in a diplomatic and solution oriented manner
  • You negotiate, close and follow up commercial projects
  • You manage your time in an efficient way according to priorities
  • You can always count on an active support of an experienced sales team as well as professional internal coaching
  • You will report directly to the Sales Director


As a Key Account Manager B2B:

                                  • You have a Bachelor's degree or relevant experienceYou have at least 3 years of experience in a commercial position
                                • You have an expertise in the FMCG/retail industry and you have an affinity with media
                            • You have excellent oral and written knowledge of the Dutch and French language
                        • You have a knowledge of MS Office & CRM
                    • You have excellent negotiation and presentation skills
                • You have an expertise in custom-made solution selling
            • You are able to build up and maintain long term client relationships
        • You are a strong hunter as well as farmer
    • You have a commercial drive and you are result oriented, but at the same time you are analytic with a great ability to understand external as well as internal needs
  • You are dynamic, proactive, entrepreneurial, stress resistant, resilient, flexible, and a team player
  • You have huge sense of responsibility and you know how to adapt yourself easily to different environment and people
