Your tasks: 

  • Commercial

Carry out structured business development, including “cold calling” within the area designated, in order to achieve order targets.

Feed up prospect and customer databases, improve the number of future enquiries and provide new development appointment to the Area Manager.

Respond to customer enquiries to generate orders.

Promote commercial visit targets to be undertaken by the Area Manager.

Achieve hire orders and other KPI targets.

Prepare quotations and drawings against customer requirements.

Effectively use internal systems (e.g. SAP and Goldmine) to ensure customer information is kept up to date and systems are aligned.

Once order is won ensure all administration duties are completed accurately.

  • Administration

Provide appropriate statistical information on a weekly/monthly basis as required.

Prepare drawings for quotations for customers and Area Manager within the company through use of the Company design system.

Produce accurate quotations to meet customer’s requirements involving discussions with clients and Area Manager as necessary, with a full pricing schedule to be provided utilizing the quotation calculator.

Promote the use of existing (terminated) buildings to meet client requirements, when producing building design.

Ensure quotations and tenders are produced in accordance with the building regulations, and ensure that the company’s position is protecting at all times.

Reconciliation of internal systems (e.g. SAP and Goldmine) to ensure they are aligned.

Record information on Contract file and SAP as required.

Handle the timetable of the Area Manager.

As directed liaise with Order Administration Department, ensure all orders transmitted gather all required documents, allowances in accordance with administrative procedures.

Produce a first level of credit control of any customer / new project.

  • Quality Standards and Service

Ensure that all laid down Quality systems e.g. ISO 9001 are adhered to.

To work within the principles as laid out in the Divisional Customer Charter.

Achieve KPI targets to role.

  • Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company procedure / policies relating to Health and Safety.

  • Communication

Foster and develop sound customer relationships through effective communication to provide excellent levels of service.

Liaise with external clients, or hire centres to ensure all enquiries are addressed.

Liaise with Order Administration personnel during transition from enquiry to order, in order to achieve order targets.

Answer queries from customers and Sales staff, maintaining good customer relations at all times.

Liaise with Estimator to include her designs and costs within the overall quotation.

  • Other

In addition to the above employees are required to carry out any reasonable request to perform other duties as may be reasonably required within the scope of the job role.
