Summary of Responsibilities

The Junior Sales Assistant supports the EMEA Personal Care Sales department in its primary and administrative duties. 

Essential Job Functions

Price Administration :

  • Price changes coordination 
  • Contract management

Customer Support :

  • Creation and maintenance of customer data in SAP
  • Sharepoint administration for sales section, sales inquiry processing
  • Creation, running and analysis of reports to support sales and marketing decisions
  • Logistic support to customer visits and seminars
  • Sales collateral (in coordination with marketing), including coordination of the samples shipment

Distributor Management support :

  • Coordinate and process inquiries form distributor and from assigned regional customers
  • Optimise and coordinate data collection such as distributors’ reports, contracts, contacts, activities & information, competition data…
  • Follow up status of contracts and liaise with distributors and legal when needed
  • Support set up, organisation and follow up of distributors events
  • Support distributors with questions on reporting processes and communication systems (Lubrizol website)
  • Liaise with distributors and with internal departments
  • Support ad hoc distributor related projects and initiatives

Skills, Qualifications, Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, with some comparable experience in sales or marketing
  • Strong affinity with Personal Care 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), French. Other European language is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of SharePoint and SAP is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Good analytical skills
  • Positive attitude, strong team spirit and flexible 
  • Result oriented with excellent organisational and planning skills
