The client is looking for a Head of Sales to help us meet our customer retention and further acquisition objectives, and to deliver revenue growth targets.

Description

  • Scope:

Belgium and Luxemburg

selling local and global products and achieving sales cross-fertilization with products and services of the other business lines

  • Growth Strategy:
  • Develop sales plan for the account portfolio

    Build and execute territory sales plan

    Develop and drive joint go to market initiatives with key business & alliance partners

    • Client Management:

    Drive demand creation initiatives, maintain client relationship

    Understand the market and demonstrate expertise to succeed

    Manage complex client situations

    • People Management:

    Motivate and inspire team to achieve success and foster a high performance culture

    Ensure regular coaching for individuals and teams

    • Internal Organization:

    Ensure each team member has clear & concrete objectives (BSC and Individual Development Plan)

    Drive and monitor KPI's for measurable results, implement reporting

    Ensure sales training is embraced and acted on

    Profile

    • Background:

    at least 10 years' experience in sales

    experience preferably with cards / payments background or IT vendor

    Familiar with matrix organisation

    Local banking network in Belgium banking sector is an asset (but not mandatory)

    Diploma: Master degree

    • Soft skills

    Leadership: strategic thinking, vision

    Collaboration, networking (external/internal)

    Great people manager, capable to enthusiast its team and peers

    Personality & attitude: Mature, Energetic, Pragmatic, Stress-resistant (balanced personality, a natural authority, action & decision oriented)

    • Sales & Specific skills:

    Strategic & business analytics: Account Planning, pipeline management, develop marketing
    strategic approach

    Market Intelligence skills: Positioning (priorities/flexibilities)

    Ability to create and manage relationship at CxO level

    Negotiation skills (ability to close deal/ convince)

    • Others:

    Oral & written communication skills in Dutch, French, English
