Senior Relationship Manager dedicated to Trade Finance solutions

International Corporate Banking that offers to corporate clients in Belgium and Luxembourg competent advice and personal client service along the entire financial supply chain.

Clients benefit from the bank expertise in transaction banking and the bank's international network dedicated to support corporate clients worldwide.

Description

The candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Independently and professionally advice corporate clients in trade services (letters of credit, guarantees, collections, BPO) and trade finance solutions

  • Service clients according to their specific needs taking into account the risk and profitability of a transaction, calculate the price for the services provided

  • Conduct client meetings and prepare client pitches, plan and follow through sales initiatives, including proactive tender management and client events

  • Manage your client portfolio, prepare call and profitability reports

  • Cooperate with other members of the clients service team including relationship managers and other specialists locally and internationally

  • Network and be prepared to speak in public at client events

  • Monitor competitor and market movements

  • Perform client due diligence checks in compliance with regulation and the bank's policies applicable for trade services

  • Be a mentor and support to junior staff

Profile

The successfull candidate will demonstrate:

  • Master in Economics or Business Administation

  • Fluency in Dutch or French, preferably both, very good command of English

  • Deep knowledge of letters of credit, collections and guarantees

  • Good knowledge of applicable ICC rules

  • Distinct client orientation, sales drive and comfortable with cold calling

  • Strong negotiation skills, persuasiveness and presence

  • Good problem solving skills

  • Good networker, respected and trusted contact person representing the company

  • Ability of taken the role of mentor and facilitator

  • Target orientation and experience in prioritizing activities with regards to the assigned customer portfolio
