Human Resources Business Partner
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner, within the Talent & Labor Consultants team in La Louvière, Belgium. Our HR organization is in the process of transforming to a leading-edge operating model. This role would be located within the “HR Solutions” arm of this operating model. The HR Solutions organization will be responsible for the design and delivery of innovative solutions to all employees and leaders. HR Solutions roles will contain deep subject-matter expertise in order to consult on programs, processes and people. The top priority of HR Solutions is to deliver the best Employee Experience through exceptional delivery of a portfolio of solutions. HR solutions contains the following types of roles: Discipline-aligned roles (ex. compensation, benefits, payroll, employee development & training, etc.), Operational Excellence (focused on driving optimal performance across HR), HR technology (the systems and tools to enable simple and easy access to solutions) and Talent & Labor Consultants (professionals dedicated to the execution of the people agenda and consulting on talent).

Your prime responsibilities will be:
Delivery of high quality HR service to support the business driven HR needs of your clients, this includes being the HR counterpart for leaders in the Benelux in relation to all aspects of employee management, such as: people development, change management, organizational reviews etc.
You ensure successful local implementation and application of HR policies and programs and develop implementation of local policies that are aligned with global HR policies and work processes.
You set goals to improve the existing HR policies and programs.
You are involved in project and change management.
You actively participate in HR projects including those that have an EMEAI impact.
For this challenging and exciting role we are looking for candidates that meet the following requirements:
Preferably Master's Degree in relevant area.
Minimum 7 to 10 years relevant work experience in Human Resources in an international context.
Experience with working on projects and change management.
Good knowledge of Belgian labor law. Knowledge of Dutch labor law is an advantage.
High interest to work with people and to be part of delivery and designing HR programs and policies that help shape and develop the workforce for Dow that will deliver its short and long term business goals.
High level of initiative, take ownership and responsibility for the job, comfortable with proposing new goals.
Excellent communication, ability to have 2 way communications to all levels in the organization, comfortable to deal with groups, clear and crisp verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in English and French. Dutch is an advantage.
