The Product Portfolio Manager’s mission is to lead the advanced masters team, manage sales and marketing and develop the programme portfolio.
About Solvay Brussels School and Executive Education
Solvay Executive Education mission is to answer the life-long learning needs of managers with a programme portfolio that includes Open Enrolment Programmes (incl. short seminars and executive masters), Customer-specific programmes (fully customized for companies), MBA and Advanced Masters.
We cover the main management practices, from General Management to more specialized disciplines like Leadership, Digital Transformation, Finance, Innovation, Marketing and much more.
The activity of Solvay Executive Education is closely connected with Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management (SBS-EM) inside the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). It can be described as a medium-sized enterprise with a 20+ employee and 6+M€ in revenues.
As Portfolio Manager of the Advanced Masters portfolio, he/she will be responsible to:
Lead the advanced Masters Team
> Manage and coach the Advanced Master team, incl. the coordination and monitoring of all operations related to the Advanced Master series
> Monitor and secure the quality of the programs, incl. assurance of learning, customer satisfactions, and external accreditations.
> Responsible for the P&L of the Advanced Master Series
> Manage the budgeting and reporting processes
> Develop networking between all stakeholders, i.e. participants, faculty, alumni, employers…
Manage Sales & Marketing
> Define, develop, and execute the marketing & sales plan for Solvay Advanced Masters. This includes the development and monitoring of sales & marketing datasets and metrics to gain insights and develop practical recommendations, incl. in order to improve the customer experience across multiple channels and touch points.
> Collaborate with the SBSEM marketing department to implement the marketing and communication plan
> Organize promotional events, networking activities, and programme-related events
> Present the programmes during promotional events and social activities (e.g. fairs, conferences…)
Develop the Advanced Masters Portfolio
> Optimize synergies, coherence and quality within the portfolio
> Contribute to the continuous improvement of the advanced masters programmes portfolio
> Assess new program opportunities, incl. market research, program design, P&L impact…
Take part to the End-to-End Delivery of Advanced Masters
> Participants recruitment and admission
> Manage the whole admission lifecycle, from application to confirmation, including invoicing.
> Courses Organization & Management:
> Coordinate academic and delivery operations
> Support to participants and faculty
> University degree in Management, Business or Marketing Education
> Min 3 years of experience in project and team management is required
> Outstanding command of French and English, both written and spoken. Dutch is an asset
>Team player with relational, facilitation and adaptation skills
> Experience as event organizer and/or in education sector is an asset
> Proficiency in Word processing, Powerpoint, Excel, database management, and digital marketing tools.
> Business & results oriented with problem-solving analytical mindset
> Ability to lead and coach a team
> Excellent organizational skills, attentiveness to detail, rigor and problem-solving attitude
> Ability to prioritize tasks and to manage time constraints
> Sense of diplomacy and sound communication skills, both oral and written
> Outstanding personal relationship skills, able to liaise positively with demanding stakeholders
> Strong service-oriented and quality-driven mindset
> Up-to-date understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
> Up-to-date understanding of digital technology and infrastructure
> Be able to both work in team and autonomously
> Flexibility to adapt working hours to seminars’ schedule and events
