You will organize and lead the execution of the category and market strategy cross categories, cross channels for the BNL market to tackle the push activation of the portfolio.

This company is active in the artisanal FMCG industry. They have clients in more than 100 countries and they produce ingredients and finished products. Their offices in Belgium are located in Antwerp.


As a Senior Activation Manager your main responsibilities are:

  • Translate insight into activities in terms of priorities of sales activities; Must Win Battles/Platforms, (Super) core assortment activation, promotions; ROI analysis.
  • Manage the activation operational budget which is defined by the Marketing Leadership Team.
  • Gain insight on covering, penetration of products, customers, consumers and competitors and translate data into insights; give input to Product Marketing;
  • Keep track of patterns in customers, visits, penetration and coverage (CRM) and gain insight on segmentation of (potential) customers.
  • Set up with Product Managers and Sales Managers the sales cycle for its main channels; monitors progress, also in effectiveness.
  • Prepare launches with a specific support in terms of pricing recommendations, promotion & activation, market positioning, services, product adaptations, logistics in close link with Product & Marketing team & Category Directors
  • Manage Promotions, content of sales documentation, customer communication brochures, fairs.
  • Advise on customer's assortment and pricing.
  • Linking with Pull Marketing Structure if needed on Projects.
  • Ensure best practises traveling from & across Europe on demand.
  • Align plans by customers with sales counterparts in different categories across channels
  • Profile

    As a Senior Activation Manager you have:

  • Bachelor degree+ work and thinking level in marketing.
  • A few years experience in the B2B or B2C food marketing regarding market communication, 3P's, working of promotion, loyalty covering, penetration, understanding of consumer & customer intelligence etc.
  • A structured mindset in order to characterize the playing field of product, customer, consumer and competitors.
  • Project management skills.
  • Soft skills: open to discussions, persuasive, influencing skills, adaptable, fact-based approach, able to work in a matrix organization, result-oriented.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • You are able to work in Antwerp.
