Client Details

My client, a company producing distilled beverages, is looking for a Jr Key Account Manager (BE).

Description

The Key Account Manager on-trade is responsible for managing Belgian Wholesalers & cavists maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.

In this role, you report to the Sales Director ON Trade Belux.

Management By Objectives:

Quantitative objectives:


Maximising profitability per customer (in value and per liter)

Specific objectives per customer

Qualitative objectives:


Optimal management of the customers: agreements, promotional plan, …

Monthly input of forecasting in demand planning tool

Writing a yearly customer plan

Collaboration with Trade Marketing department to develop tailor made activations

Collaboration with the business development department to develop the business with the customer by analyzing the available figures

KEY RESPONSABILITIES




Increase wholesaler & cavist visit coverage

Track & increase numeric distribution + monitor prices & on-trade contracted volumes

Set up, implement and follow up on general wholesaler promo plan

Discover and grasp a wide range of new opportunities of second placements & fairs

Map and grasp digital opportunities

POC for on-trade pricing, forecasting and quota management

Team player who works closely together with on-trade team

Profile

Key Skills

Perfectly bilingual (Dutch & French) is a must; fluent in English is a plus

Business development mindset

Sales experience

Both on-trade and retail know-how are a plus

Adequate analytical skills

Team player with communication skills

Work experience:


minimum 3 years in an equivalent function within the FMCG

Knowledge of the industry is an advantage
