Key Account On-Trade - Beverage
My client, a company producing distilled beverages, is looking for a Jr Key Account Manager (BE).
The Key Account Manager on-trade is responsible for managing Belgian Wholesalers & cavists maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.
In this role, you report to the Sales Director ON Trade Belux.
Management By Objectives:
Maximising profitability per customer (in value and per liter)Specific objectives per customer
Optimal management of the customers: agreements, promotional plan, …Monthly input of forecasting in demand planning toolWriting a yearly customer planCollaboration with Trade Marketing department to develop tailor made activationsCollaboration with the business development department to develop the business with the customer by analyzing the available figuresKEY RESPONSABILITIES
Increase wholesaler & cavist visit coverageTrack & increase numeric distribution + monitor prices & on-trade contracted volumesSet up, implement and follow up on general wholesaler promo planDiscover and grasp a wide range of new opportunities of second placements & fairsMap and grasp digital opportunitiesPOC for on-trade pricing, forecasting and quota managementTeam player who works closely together with on-trade team
Perfectly bilingual (Dutch & French) is a must; fluent in English is a plus
Business development mindset
Both on-trade and retail know-how are a plus
Adequate analytical skills
Team player with communication skillsWork experience:
minimum 3 years in an equivalent function within the FMCGKnowledge of the industry is an advantage
