Client Details

Our client is a leading actor in the High-Tech Software industry.
They provide innovative solutions with multiple applications in Security, Maritime and Aviation operations.
In order to sustain they growth, they are today looking for a new Area Sales Manager for the Benelux area.

Description

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Focus predominantly in the acquisition of new clients, as well as expansion of the current customer account base.
  • Full responsibility over all Sales of Software, Services and Maintenance in the Benelux region.
  • Territory management: Prospecting, Customer Segmentation, Customer visits.
  • Account Management & Development within the 2 main Key Accounts of the organisation in Belgium
  • Customer Engagement: Prepare presentations focused on customer needs and present on executive meetings, webcast, conferences, etc.

  • Negotiation and contract acceptance.

  • Deliver forecasting for the Benelux region.
  • Pipeline Management: leads, opportunity development, forecasting.
  • Management and build-up of the local partner network.
    • Responsibility to draft and execute plans and budgets relating internal stakeholders: Marketing, Human Resources.

    • The Sales Manager Benelux will report to the Vice President EMEA Region.

  • Full accountability for all the business generated within his/her assigned territory.

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following requirements:

  • A Master Degree in Business Economics or equivalent by experience
  • At least 5 years of a proven track record experience of business development and account management
  • A leader in your own right, with a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • A natural listener, with good communication skills and enjoys giving presentations
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French
  • Willingness to travel around 40-50%
  • Experience in dealing with governmental, local government and B2B
  • An existing network in Defense Area and NATO is an asset
