The EMEA Complaint Specialist handles high level complaint processes on devices sold in EMEA and supports all requests from customers.

Our client is an international company active in the Healthcare industry and with EMEA office in Zaventem.

Description

The EMEA Complaint Specialist will have following tasks:

  • Handle complaint receival from internal departments (Sales, Customer Service) and EMEA customers.
  • Monitor customer complaint intake and enter complaints for initiation.
  • Co-ordinate, monitor and track sample return and product replacements as the result of a product quality issue.
  • Contact customers, medical staff and sales team to obtain relevant complaint related information as required.
  • Track and manage the complaint investigations to ensure the investigations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Forward to relevant manufacturers and follow up closely.
  • Provide status updates to customers and track complaint closures.
  • Assure accuracy, integrity, completeness and consistency of product complaint files.
  • Perform trending and generate relevant data in relation to the complaints.
  • Generate and manage all correspondence related to customer complaints.
  • Assist with the execution of product recalls and accountability.
  • Participate in Quality System related projects, as required.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of complaint handling process, by providing solutions and improvement ideas and implementation of improvements.

Profile

  • minimum two to three years' experience in a customer service position is a must.
  • experience in complaint handling in a B2B environment is mandatory.
  • experience in a medical devices environment or a similar environment is a big plus.
  • Dutch, French and English are needed, German is a nice to have.
  • Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with, and empathise with colleagues and customers from varied backgrounds and cultures.
