Our client is a global player in the medical device market and looking for a Travel/Back Office Assistant. The company is globally active and constantly growing.

Our client is located in Mechelen Noord.


As Travel/Back Office Assistant, you are a part of an internal service and you follow up on the organization of business travels and everything that comes along with this like:

  • hotels
  • rental cars
  • visa applications
  • meeting rooms
  • transportation
  • restaurants

  • Set-up, organization and follow up of company events and international congresses

  • Provide daily support of executives with administrative duties and document storage and a full overview of contract filing

  • Relieve the Back-Office and Travel team on specific requests of Executives if there is a need for official documents or stamps from notary and or governmental institutions


  • You obtained a Bachelor's degree (for example Office Management, Management Assistant, Tourism, …)

  • You are fluent in English and French

  • You have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • You are punctual and you are able to set priorities and work with deadlines

  • You are flexible and you like to work with different parties

  • You are pro-active and show initiative when it comes to improving workflows and implementing changes

  • You offer a listening ear

  • You are reliable

  • You are accurate and precise in your work

  • You will act in accordance with ISO quality requirements and the company values
