For our client, a key player in the industrial vehicles, HAYS SALES is looking for an area sales manager to handle a network of dealers.

The purpose of the job is to manage a portfolio of existing customers throughout Benelux, France and the Nordic. Your role is to build long term relationships with the dealers, and to take specific actions in order to encourage them to sell your spare parts. More than a commercial relationship, you develop a qualitative partnership with the network of dealers you are responsible for. To do so, you train and coach the dealers you are responsible for. You are not responsible to sell spare parts, however you are in charge of boosting the sales by implementing specifics sales actions and trainings. You are mainly travelling to meet the dealers face to face and you work from the office to insure a good collaboration with the team members. You work in close relationship with the marketing team in order to create innovative strategy for your market. The headquarters are located in Brussels and you will be expected once or twice a week at the office. You report directly to the line manager.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor or master's degree or equivalent thanks to experience. You already have a first B2B sales experience. A previous experience in the spare parts or automotive industry is a solid advantage. If not, we are looking for someone who is interested in technical environment. You have an excellent knowledge of French and English with a good Dutch. You have strong commercial skills. You are known for your coaching competencies and ability to build long term relationships. Besides, you are driven by challenges and results, you are "customer and quality oriented". Finally, you have a hands-on attitude, are devoted and most important team player.
