For a client active in the plastic supply sector, Hays Sales is currently looking for a Technical Sales Consultant for the Brussels and Antwerp region.

As a Technical sales consultant, the purpose of your job is to manage a client portfolio you'll receive. This will involve maintaining good relationships with existing clients as well as further developing your own portfolio. You'll have to keep an eye open for opportunities and potential new clients. Furthermore, you will use your expertise to search a fitting solution for your clients. As you are a sales consultant, your main focus will be giving technical advice instead of selling products. To do so, you'll have 5 till 10 appointments, write visitation reports and work one day a month from the office.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in electromechanics or is equal by experience. Experience in B2B is needed as well as an affinity for electronics and mechanics. You must be fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus. You are hard worker, dynamic, communicative and results-driven. You're also flexible, proactive, have a good sense of initiative and want to use this opportunity to become a sales person. Moreover, you are willing to learn and be trained.
