Your role:

He/she is responsible for the planning, and organization of test activities within IT and business(UAT).  Drawing up test plans, progress reports, final reports, directing and executing the test process. 

  • Test Methodology (ISTQB)
  • Test tooling (Spiratest, JMeter, ...)
  • Knowledge of insurance products, techniques and processes (claims management, underwriting, etc.)

Tasks, responsibilities and authorities

  • Reaching agreement with the project leader and product owner about the test assignment and expectations
  • Ensuring test means is available on time
  • Communication about all test matters within the project team and towards IT Release Management
  • Allowing use of all agreed test methodologies
  • Creating and maintaining of test plan
  • Planning and follow-up of both IT and Business Tests (Resources)
  • Managing the project test team for test preparation test execution, test automation and performance testing
  • Overseeing the planning, budget and execution of the test plans
  • Reporting on the progress, quality of the test process and defects

 Your profile:

  • Higher education or equivalent by experience
  • IT Related study
  • At least 5 year experience as test analyst / tester
  • At least 2 year experience as test coordinator/manager within multiple simultaneous small projects or one large project
  • Experienced with project related leadership (min. 2 years)
  • ICT Knowledge:
  • Familiar with development methods (Agile and Waterfall)
  • Knowledge of system design techniques (Functional & Technical Design)
  • Knowledge test automation and test tools
  • Experience with Test Support Roles (is a plus)
  • Familiar with Quality Assurance, Risk Management and prototyping
  • Detailed knowledge of and experience with test methods, test techniques and support tools
  • Ability to combine theory and pragmatism
  • Practical experience in the use of planning and budgeting (estimating) techniques and support tools
  • Practical experience in providing leadership to the different test roles
  • Experience with the application of test process improvement
  • Experience with moderating group inspections
  • Familiar with the execution of test plan audit
  • Familiar with the automated test concepts
  • Familiar with the use of automated test support tools
