For one of my clients located in Brussels, I am actively looking for an Accounting Director. My client is a Belgian company active in the retail sector and is expanding worldwide.

Description

The Accounting Director will directly report to the CFO:

• People management (up to 3)

• Management of all legal and tax aspects of the different entities

• Managing the preparation and development of a new ERP

• Coordinating the operations in the accounting department

• GL accounting: follow up of clients and suppliers rules, expense reports, bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements

• Clients: follow up of invoicing operations, control of receipts and payment delays, making sure of a weekly reporting of the different entities and the consolidated one, participating in and driving the monthly or trimestral closing ( inventories, salaries, pro rata, accounting depreciation, grants, AP and AR accounting)

• Supervising the relation with the banks, optimizing payments, establishing treasury provision, follow up of client credit and delays

• Supervising the VAT declaration, intrastat and intercom

Profile

• People management experience

• Rigorous and organized

• Stress resistant and you are proactive

• You have a sense of communication, the capacity to analyze and synthesize

• You are Fluent in French and in English

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position
