Client Details

Our Client, International Company specialized in the distribution of specialty chemicals and food ingredients is looking for an Junior GL Accountant. You will work from the Antwerp Corporate office and will provide support to the Finance Shared Service team in the General Ledger department.

Description

Main Responsabilities:

  • Review journal entries and record the necessary provisions an accruals
  • Review bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
  • Review monthly and yearly closing
  • Run FX revaluations for vendors, customers and general ledger account entries
  • Ensure that monthly team KPI's are met

Profile

  • Degree in Accounting - Tax or equivalent through experience

  • You have 3-5 years of experience

  • Fluent in English

  • Extensive experience with Excel and Microsoft Dynamics

  • Experience within a multi-cultural environment is a plus
  • You are analytical, hands-on and you have the necessary sense of responsibility
