Supply Chain Manager - Food

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you are the Supply Chain Manager. You oversee all operations related to the function.

Description

The Supply Chain Manager has the following responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the supply, the order management, the planning and the logistics at the production site in Belgium
• Select and allocate resources according to industrial capacity, results and company strategy
• Coordinate the flow of information and communication between the various internal stakeholders (planning, distribution, purchasing, trade ...) and external (suppliers, wholesalers ...)
• Define and optimize inventory, distribution and warehousing levels based on defined Service Level's
• Plan needs based on forecasts over a medium to long term horizon taking into account the constraints of other services
• Collaborate in the development of strategic investment plans for the development and sustainability of the company
• Interface with the supply chain function equivalence in other regions and any other department that has an impact on the operation of the company
• Manage the relationship and be the point of contact with the 3PL
• Manage a team of around 10 FTE

Profile

The Supply Chain Manager has the following profile:

• Master Degree or Bachelor in Supply chain or Business management or Logistics

• Experience in the Food industry is a strong lus

• Between 3 and 7 years of experience in a similar role

• Ability to take leadership and strong management skills

• Create strong relationship with internal and external parties

• Strong experience in ERP tools and BI tools

• Experience in Project management

• Fluent in English and French, Dutch is a strong plus
