SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER

In order to reinforce our internal infrastructure team, Arηs Developments is looking for an IT System Engineer.

Your challenge

As part of our internal infrastructure team, composed of 4 people, your main activities will be:

• You take the technical lead of different projects of improvement (infrastructure design, cloud migration)
• You provide support for development and devops teams
• You maintain and manage the servers and network (different sites in the world)
• You maintain adequate knowledge of operating systems and application software
• You provide technical solutions
• You take ownership and responsibility of any issues from start through to a successful resolution.

Who you are

Your profile:

• You hold a University degree in IT and a relevant experience as System Engineer.
• You have strong knowledge in Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) and Windows Operating System
• You have good skills in Network (Fortinet Firewalling, VLAN Switching)
• You have experience in infrastructure design and migration (Public & Private Cloud)
• You have experience with automation tools would be an asset (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
• Knowledge of public cloud solutions would be an asset (AWS, Azure)
• You are fluent in English and French. Any other language is considered as an asset.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team spirit
