Our Brussels office has more than 70 team members and is characterised by its informal, open and yet professional culture. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Marketing and Business Development department for a Marketing Assistant (Dutch – French - English) on a half time basis.  In this varied, dynamic role you will work alongside the Marketing and Business Development Manager to roll-out the marketing and business development activities for our Brussels office.

The role

More specifically your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate the legal directory and awards submissions process;
• Contribute to the practical organization of in-house and external seminars and events, from organizing the logistics to sending out invitations and evaluating feedback forms;
• Providing support to the pitching process: from formatting assistance to background research;
• Assist in creating marketing materials such as newsletters, flyers, brochures and presentations;
• Updating marketing-related tools, including our website, credentials database;…
• Provide marketing info to the team upon request e.g. logos, background info on companies;.. and
• Manage the stock of merchandising materials.

Your profile

• You hold a bachelor degree, ideally in communication, marketing or languages;
• You have at least a first experience in a marketing role, ideally in the professional services sector;
• You have an excellent command of English and a good knowledge of Dutch and French, both spoken and written;
• You have an advanced knowledge of MS office and are keen to learn how to use other software packages;
• You have great organizational skills and set high standards for yourself;
• You have a ‘can do’, pragmatic attitude;
• You are pro-active, solution oriented and possess a strong attention to detail;
• A true team player, you are reliable, flexible as to hours in busy times; and
• You enjoy working independently and are at the same time able to cooperate effectively with colleagues in the Brussels office and internationally;
