Junior Accountant - Brussels

Accountemps is looking for an Junior Accountant (M/F) for one of its clients.

Our client, a company linked to the European Institutions and active in the service sector, is located in the South of Brussels and is easily reachable via public transportation.

As Junior Accountant (M/F), you will have a variety of roles under the supervision of and reporting to our Senior Accountant:

• Bookkeeping and general accounting of various organizations in Expert/M;
• Preparation of the VAT declarations and handling tax returns;
• Invoicing and follow-up on Accounts Receivables, payments of suppliers' invoices;
• Periodical closure bookings;
• Preparation of the year-end closing, the annual and statutory accounts;
• Preparation of annual budgets.

The requirements for this role are :

• Bachelor in Accounting ;
• A first experience in an Accounting function, an international experience is an asset;
• Good knowledge of English (working language), French and / or Dutch;
• Self-starter, service-minded and strong team player;
• Accurate with figures, quality and result oriented.
