For an international company, based in the province of Namur, active in the FMCG sector, we are looking for a Junior Category Manager to reinforce the marketing team.

As a category Manager you:

  • Research and analyze data and market insights
  • Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors
  • Strategize positioning of a product category in order to maximize its visibility
  • Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities
  • Work with customers and merchandisers and find new ways of expanding product categories
  • Calculate forecasts for product demand trends
  • Manage and track budget
  • Profile

    You have an excellent level of Dutch and French

  • You have a master in Marketing
  • You have a first experience in a marketing role
  • You are analytical and a critical thinker
  • You have good communication skills and a team-player
