The Material Planner Europe is responsible for developing and maintaining a detailed production schedule.
Client Details
Our client is a global leader in the production of chemicals with a long history in its manufacture.
Description
Maintain efficient production schedule taking inventory, forecast and sales orders into account.
Ensure sufficient stock of raw materials at all times (feedstock, glass fiber and additives) for tolling taking stock targets into account; ensure optimal logistics costs considering max payloads and direct raw material shipments to
Toller's warehouse.
Perform SAP transaction related to our activities including but not limited to: Issue tolling, repacking PO's, Issue raw material PO's & STO's, Maintain the production BOM.
Maintain efficient material flow between our plants and warehouses taking operations cost, inventory requirements, forecast and actual sales orders into account. (Sales Control)
Ensure our services providers are performing the movements properly and in a timely manner respecting FIFO rules.
Create & communicate a production schedule that follows approved Production (Supply) Plan and lead time policies.
Maintain our SAP system up-to-date. Ensure our partners are maintaining it (Inventory position, BOM, Master data).
Escalate scheduling issues to scheduling management as needed.
Resolve customer related issues/exceptions by working closely with Customer Service Representatives.
Support our global replenishment team when needed. (Enter manual request to the collaboration site)
Create, communicate and monitor repacking request that follows operational lead time/time fence policies.
Create, communicate stock transfer orders that follows our inventory target at the right time and location.
Create, communicate and monitor third parties or supplier PO to support the business.
Support the team for back up.
Profile
- 2-6 years experience in a similar position
- French and English fluent
- Open to 6 month missions
