Client Details

Our customer is a leading player in its sector. They do provide with medical information to health care industry players. Their Belgian branch employs 15 people and is currently looking for a Senior Desktop Support profile. Their office is ideally located in Walloon Brabant.

Description

As Lead Tech Support Engineer, your responsibilities are the following:

  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

  • Train and assist with End User training on all systems

  • Assist with all acquisition, integration and deployment of technologies

  • Strengthen day-to-day support operations

  • Perform direct hands-on problem resolution and escalation management for enduser troubles, application service interruptions

Profile

The required key qualifications for the Lead Tech Support Engineer are the following:

  • Graduate degree in IT

  • Previous experience in a similar role of 4-5 years

  • Excellent command of French and English

  • Strong technical skills with Windows 7/10 and MS Office 2016 Applications suite

  • Experience working with a ticketing system and with MDT - Microsoft Deployment Toolkit are preferred

  • Familiarity with MDM solutions (JMAF)

  • SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), MAC troubleshooting and management are mandatory skills

  • Knowledge of networking requirements and functions for desktops and remote users

  • Background with Desktop/Laptop hardware and end-user level peripherals

  • Experience with network switches and firewalls

  • Excellent communication and problem management skills

  • You are proficient in troubleshooting, problem solving, and quick thinking
