Job Description:

  • P&L, Account / Relationship Management / Consulting
  • Understands the business directions and trends related to the BFS industry or domain; provides value-added solutions/suggestions to the client.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the customer domain of activity, and responds to customer’s priority needs for service and support.
  • Demonstrates prowess in revenue forecasting and profitability management.
  • People Interactions
  • Within own team or department at leadership/strategic level.
  • Contact with user/customer up to and including senior management.
  • Contact with peers in the Organization and global senior management at strategic level.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • P&L, Account / Relationship Management / Consulting
  • Growing the account/portfolio with clearly established top line and bottom line targets
  • Develop/maintain client contacts and actively network with potential client executives
  • Ability to understand client business model and proactively create opportunities to drive value
  • Identify new opportunities that showcase Cognizant capabilities and hold strong promise for downstream IT work by working with industry/domain heads
  • Must be able to establish and build trust and leverage client context by understanding client’s overall business goals
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams which includes: Horizontal leaders, Subject Matter Experts and Sales Executives
  • Ability to work on bids involving multiple service lines
  • Knowledge of dealing with business development on Analytics and Digital will be an added advantage

Skills Required  

  • Overall experience of 10+ years with at least 3-4 years in Business Development
  • Experience managing P&L of at least $5 million
  • Should have managed Customers onsite for at least 3 years
  • Successful track record of growing revenues in existing accounts
  • Have a strong track record of successfully selling solutions based services to the respective client’s business units.
  • Strong Communication and presentation skills
  • Local Language – French or Dutch
